Raven Grenier
Raven was trained by her grandparents Elders Kenneth and Margaret Harris, and began performing at the age of six in the production Setting the Path in 2004. She has performed in most of the company’s productions and toured internationally since, most notably Flicker 2016, and Mînowin 2019. Raven was the recipient for the major entrance scholarship for Science at the University of British Columbia before switching to their BA program. She is majoring in First Nations and Indigenous Studies with a minor in Health and Society. Raven is a visual artist in formline design, and a traditional Gitxsan, Indigenous contemporary, and pow-wow dancer, and lead vocalist for the Dancers of Damelahamid.
